we have a 98 paseo and the immobiliser for the engine is broken we can get into the car but need to do a jigsaw puzzle every time we need to start the car.

does anyone know how to disengage the immobiliser for the engine please. someone did tell me they think its by a button near the gear shift but their not sure, it has an alpine system in it.

Whilst I appreciate the issue you are having with your vehicle. It is not the best idea for information on bypassing a security feature to be posted on a publically visible forum.

I would suggest that you seek the assistance of a qualified auto electrician or automotive locksmith.
