High petrol consumption

How often do you do a data refresh ?

From memory ,  it's the button on the steering wheel to the left with "DISP" printed on it.

Push and hold and your old data gets erased and so the new data will be more accurate .

Do this each morning before you drive off.

Read about it in your owners handbook.

I 'm just thinking, that's what happened just after I erased my previous data. And new data and numbers just skyrocketed after my last erase. And now it is taking sometimes to collect new data to process and to come up with a new average fuel consumption level. I think at the moment, I would not recommend to erase those numbers that often. I will report back in a few days :)

After you reset data it's normal for the numbers to overshoot. I have noticed this too on mine.

It usually takes around 5 or so minutes of driving before it finds its sweet spot.

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you are noticing the fuel guage diminish as if you were driving a 6lt V8.

The ecoguage is only useful the longer you drive.

Short distances doesn't allow it enough time to get to that sweet spot.

Forgive me if you've already mentioned, but have you noticed heavy consumption ?

How many Kays do you normally get per tank ?

Ok, at the moment my average consumption comes to 18L per 100Kms. that's what I am getting on my car computer and with my own calculations. So it is nothing to do with the car computer. Most of the driving  around city, between traffic lights, on a few occasions I used air conditioner.
