Dash clock

Hi all.

Anybody know where i can get a hold of a factory dash clock for my 2000 echo?

Have you tried calling around wreckers or looking on eBay/Gumtree yet?

Yeah I've tried Gumtree and heaps of wreckers and there was a damaged 1 on ebay in the u.s. for about a $100.

I even tried toyota. They can get 1 from Japan for $480.

They don't seem to be very common as they were only fitted as a dealer upgrade in australia.

I know what you mean about pricing, see a few on US site but for crazy US $$$ dollars, don't know what head unit you have in a 2000 model, we have a 2004 double din toyota unit, after reading the radio handbook i discovered it has a hidden clock function that you need to activate to get the time to get a large clock display on the radio, took about 3 trys and yes we now have a clock display in the dash (all i need now is to find the hidden water temp display feature--- ha ha ha.i wish..)...........

Anyway here is the clock start up procedure for double/din unit, may apply to single, not sure??
