1998 hilux noise

Hi

I have a 1998 dual cab 3 litre which I've owned since new. 560000 on the clock.

My trouble at the moment is when the motor gets warmed up I get a very bad noise once I  get over 2000rpm coming from the motor.

Once the motor gets warmed there is a loud ticking noise once the engine reaches 2000rpm. There is also alot of white smoke on start up and when you rev the engine

You should look into having a cylinder leakdown test conducted.
