I have a 1994 rav4 that that is stuck in c diff lock.

I pressed the diff lock button in error and now the diff lock message on the dash goes out but the buzzer still sounds.

What can i do to fix it?

Do you ever take it offroad?

If you don't, one of the popular fixes is to remove connector for the diff lock. It is located on top of the transfer case and it is horrible to access.

Do a Google search on the "fix" and you should get some results.

Hi Trentmeyer, No i don't take it off road so can do the fix you suggested. My problem at present is to get it out of diff lock. Is it okay to drive with it in diff lock on sealed roads? Some one has suggested i jack up one side of the car so the wheels are off the ground then keep hitting the diff lock button until it drops out of lock. I have tried reversing but still locked. Any other thoghts on it?
