  1. Thanks Ashley. It helps if you know what to call them when doing a search. The workshop manual has them as isolators.
  2. Hi all, I'm in the process of replacing my springs in each corner of my AE93 Corolla. I'm getting a set of new harder standard height springs from Pedders at a very good price. From past experience I've found that the rubber isolators that sit at top & bottom of each spring generally wear and need replacing at spring replacement. My old Peugeot 505 had ones that fell to bits when they were removed. My question is, where do you get them? A search on Google wasn't very helpful, no one seems to sell them. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what was a workaround that was employed to fix this? I considered getting some thin rubber sheeting from Clark Rubber and cutting it up to suit. Prolly won't work as the seats are an odd shape. Any thoughts on this are appreciated. Matt.
  3. Hi, I'm after a set of mounts that hold the rear speakers for my AE92 CSi hatch. I'm in Wodonga and my email address is matthew.wilson@netcube.com.au The ones I'm after are part numbers are 64751B & 64752B in the second picture. Cheers.
  4. Does anyone know what the part number for the gas struts that hold the rear hatch up is? Also if you could recommend a supplier that would be great. Mine are starting to fade and would like to get some new ones. Of course there is no identifying info on them. Cheers, Matt.
  5. Hi all, I'm having a problem in that my dashboard illumination lights don't come on and also the lights that show what gear you are in at the bottom of the gearstick (auto) don't light. I have been able to glean some info from the net in that these are linked via the dimmer rheostat and the tail fuse but am after a wiring diagram to help me in my troubleshooting of this problem. Would any one have a scanned copy of one or know where to point me to get one? Any help appreciated. Matt.

  7. Hi all, I'm new to these forums as I have just bought a 1998 Camry Ultima SV21. I plan to drive it as a work car and teach my 16yo daughter to drive in it. I picked it up for $3k from an ex Jacobs Toyota (Wodonga) mechanic so it is in good condition. Very straight and clean and well serviced. I never thought I'd ever own a Toyota althogh I have driven lots of them. I have been into Peugeots (504 & 505)for years now and have a nice 505 SLi as a project car that I am slowly reconditioning. I have been a member of Aussiefrogs for years and am now a member of theis forum. I am a keen amateur mechanic and look forward to learning about Camrys. Cheers, Matt.
