  1. Hi Chris Welcome to the club, I have restored a few of the early RA60's and RA65's over the years, more recently was a RA60 Sunchaser convertible. Not sure what research your doing? but feel free to pm me or ask away on forum if you need any info. cheers
  2. I know what you mean about pricing, see a few on US site but for crazy US $$$ dollars, don't know what head unit you have in a 2000 model, we have a 2004 double din toyota unit, after reading the radio handbook i discovered it has a hidden clock function that you need to activate to get the time to get a large clock display on the radio, took about 3 trys and yes we now have a clock display in the dash (all i need now is to find the hidden water temp display feature--- ha ha ha.i wish..)........... Anyway here is the clock start up procedure for double/din unit, may apply to single, not sure??
  3. Better introduce myself, name is Paul, in the Brisbane area SEQ. I have 2 Toyota's, 1x Echo and 1 x Sunchaser and a Mitsubishi Ralliart Wagon (don't hold it against me) Been in the car scene for about 43 years, mainly old school stuff, just thought i would join and get a few ideas on doing some work to the low klm Echo which i just purchased for the daughter at a crazy cheap price. Cheers
