Hey team.
I recently bought my first Hilux. It's a 2002 dual cab SR5 KZN165R. I love it! I have come across a very cheap fancy multimedia head unit with GPS (Pioneer AVIC-F980DAB). I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a few of the wires I need to connect to. I have installed quite a few head units before, but never one with navigation and a reversing camera and not in a Hilux before. If someone can tell me where these wires are, or supply a wiring diagram, it'll save me a lot of time dicking around.
Can anyone tell me the location and colour of the following wires:
Car speed signal wire
Reverse gear signal wire
Parking brake wire (power supply side). I assume the easiest place is at the handbrake, just need to know which is the correct wire.
I think that should be all I need. The rest should be pretty straightforward (fingers crossed). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need any more info.
