  1. Here is my Step by Step guide (with Photo's) on how to remove the factory Headunit from a 2007 Corolla or Auris. I know that this technique is 100% similar to the Hatch and Sedan models (As my Family has Both). Here we go. Tools needed. Screw driver (philips and flat) Socket set Fingers (sorry the pictures dont go in order) Step 1: Remove the Glove box (instructions on how to this are in the manual under air Con filter change) See Pic 1 Step 2: Remove these side panels, gripping from top and use non-brutal force to remove them. see Pic 8 Step 3: Remove the Dash part which holds the Hazard light and two Air Vents just above the Headunit and place gently on top of dash (pic 2), then remove frame thats surronds headunit. See pic 3 Step 4: Remove these bolts (simple enough). See pic 2 Step 5: Carefully remove headunit from housing. See pic 9 Step 6: These are your wires. Will post cable colours in a few days. See pic 6 Step 7: Here is the empty space left after you remove the headunit. See pic 7 Step 8: This step involves you putting your new headunit (if thats what your attending to do). Note the metal side parts that connect the headunit to the frame (as circled in Pic 9). They must be removed from factory headunit and place on new one. Pic 5 Finished Product: Here's my finished product :) Pic 4 Hope someone finds this helpful, and if so then my job is done :) p.s If you have any enquires as to this guide don't hesitate the PM me as I could not put every little process of the removal in this guide.
  2. Is that the yahoo thats all in Japanese? lol prolly the stupidest question haha cos I cant read Japanese lol
  3. Thinking of getting a spoiler first, not a large one, but a small aggressive one like the BRZ one, so I will wait for a aftermarket one I like. Then Wheels and then Engine Mods afterwards :D
  4. Nice car, I was almost going to get that colour as my old Corolla used to be similar :D, Congrats dude and was gonna reply on GT86 forum but here is just as good lol
  5. Heard Toyota and BMW are teaming up now after the success of the 86 and creating the new Supra due in 4-5 Years
  6. Here ya go for now. Im gonna take it up the mountain next weekend and hopefully get some good pics
  7. Yeah Im one to get around alot lol Jokes, Yeah Ill post many photos this weekend when the weather is better :D
  8. Hey guys picked up the beast yesterday and omg im in heaven, everything about just screams awesome . Cruising at 110 Km/H and it sits at about 2900 RPM in Sixth gear and even then you put the foot down and it instanly screams through the exhaust! The steering is the best ive ever encountered, any movement made by the steering wheel made the wheels move. Very easy to drive around at low speeds in first unlike many previous cars ive owned where they like to hoop tiny bits when travelling under 10Km/H. If you dont already know cos Ive seen the question a hundred times lol, yes the DRL's are on all the time except when the Lights and driving Lights are on I think. And on the first night I own it, get pulled over by the cops and they give me a RBT but the copper knew all about the 86 and was asking me heaps of questions haha and he even asked to look around and under the hood haha, told me I should be proud being the first 86 hes pulled over haha Only able to take one photo because its raining heavy and I was super tired from the 7 hours of driving that day so Ill get heaps on the weekend. Enjoy FAS786
