I'm going to be in Canberra visiting a mate in a couple of weeks, from Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th April. Any members from our nation's capital feel like meeting up for a cruise/chat/eats/whatever?

The main reason I'm coming down is for Anzac Day, and that date is reserved for dawn service, drinking and two-up (if you want to meet up for those activities too let me know :D ) and looks like we'll be hitting the clubs in Civic on Thursday night. So if you want to cruise on Friday night I'm keen? What night is best for it? Any particular routes that are decent or we'll just wing it?

Anyways, y'all let me know if you're keen, we'll sort it out :)

I think everyone is dead here now lol.

We're sorry dude. Work here must be just stupid at the moment. I live at work. Last meet we had I had to go 'back' to work...on a saturday...until 8:00pm. Ghey.

Next time hopefully :(

I'm assuming even most people who work would be able to find me on Anzac Day and have a drink bought for them? :)

Looks like it's just Rob and a couple of guys from the JZX forums....

canberra is so different to melb. no offence canberrians, but why is it so boring. the city was so quiet, there was nothing to do, the casino was empty, and roulette dealer was being a pr**k. didn't spot out any other members :S. on the positive note, its a livable city, but you need to have friends living close by.

When you're new to places it's generally boring because you don't know where everything is lol. Canberra has a night life. You just need to find it lol.

yeh, there seemed to be heaps of traffic when we left ( @ 10.00pm ). Guess we shoulda stayed, only if we meet a few of the TOC members to show us around :S

Well as stated above we've all been pretty busy unfortunately, both with personal and work issues.

I see mick0082 leaving work everyday looking like I do: Pi55ed off, tunes cranked and hankering for beer.

Dude, if you're used to Melbourne, of course Canberra is going to be quieter. It's a smaller, newer town. But compared to somewhere like Wollongong it's anywhere but boring :) I've been down 4 times this year and every time has been utterly worth the drive. The nightlife is fantastic if you get out of the car and hang around till things liven up!! (10pm? Are you Cinderella?!?!)
