hi

just want to know if i should use a oil flush before i put new oil in?

i'm going from castrol Castrol Magnatec 10W-40 to Shell Helix Plus Eco 10 10W-30

i've just done 100,000km

You might have more luck flushing it rather than flashing it, if your going to flash it make sure no neighbours around.

Anyway, what car are you driving? The oil you use can dpend on age of engine etc, i dont flush my oil, just top up and change oil filter my engine is a 4age bigport. I guess yours is different?

if it helps it will only cost you around $10

if it's done 100 000 i'd do it. don't need to do it all the time but now and then is always good for peace of mind.
