under plastic guards .... ??

i have 2 neon/LED install installed on the right and left side of the car and i want to install the front and back ones but i cant !!!

the front has these plastic guards now i can get them off no worries but im wondering is there a point to them ?? and do i have to put them back on??

cause the levin and other models dont have it by memory ...

you talking about the black plastic guards?? if you are, i was thinking the same thing this afternoon after looking under me car :huh:

Are you referring to the one below the radiator? Yes I don't have one. The only reason I can see some models have this is kind of like people installing the upper radiator shround or cooling panel - to ensure more air is diverted into the radiator. I really dont think there's any sort of adverse effect in removing this.

      Oil Pipe Leak

      I just had my Aurion ATX 2010 in for service today and received a call regarding oil cooling pipe has a prick hole and car is deemed not safe to drive till replaced. Service department bloke said they are taking photos and sending of for Warranty and awaiting a reply if it will be replaced at their cost or mine. I was informed it was picked up during service in 2020 and deemed safe? I will keep you updated on the outcome. my car has always been serviced at Toyota and only has 209,900 Kim’s

      Swapping hiace motors

      Hi there, bit of background, I’ve got a 2003 Toyota hiace lwb that has a good motor but the shell is dead, and a 1993 Toyota hiace commuter extra long wheel base that has a dead motor. Both diesel, 1993 is 2.4L engine, 2003 I’m not 100% but I believe it’s also a 2.4L engine So my question is does anybody know if the 2003 motor would fit in the 1993 hiace commuter.

      Brake issues with 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid

      Hi all, trying to get some opinion/feedback on what I recently observed on my Corolla Cross. It happened on the last two trips where the car made noise, I feel some vibration/rattling when I was braking. It lasts for 1 or 2 seconds. I kind of felt the tires skid but I am not sure if that's what actually happened. And I, again kind of, felt that it was the right side tires. Or at least the noise coming from the right side. But it could be just because I was driving and obviously sit on the right side of the car. In those 2 trips, it happened in 4 occasions. And it wasn't abrupt or hard braking, just normal slowing down. I wonder if this is a known issues ... or if anyone with the same car experience the same or similar issues. Thank you.

      Aisan (not to be confused with Aisin by the way) has been an OEM supplier for Toyota carburetor, throttle-body and fuel-injection components since the '60s. Unlike Denso and Aisin though, they're not actually part of the Toyota Group (but Toyota does have a financial interest in them)

      IAC for 1997 Camry Vienta (3vzfe)

      I have a 1997 Camry vienta with a 3vzfe. My idle air controller is gone and I'm looking for a replacement. I came across an AISAN ISC 069 and was wondering if it's oem like denso? if not then is it a good replacement? I have also looked at GOSS and Tridon and was wondering which of them is better. Also what aftermarket brand is good in genera PAT, GOSS or tridon? cause I can't find may toyota parts for my car so I need to rely on these

      Aurion "wobble"

      Hi all, Last weekend I became the proud owner of an Aurion zr6 2008. Looks great and the engine and trans seem to be in good condition. It has 220,000km on the clock. It does have one issue though that's bugging me. It has a slight wobble... All the time. It's not coming through the steering and the rate or wobble is directly proportionate to the speed of the car. I had brand new wheels and tyres put on the day I bought it. They were balanced and aligned. I haven't taken it to my mechanic yet but I will be this week. Hoping to get some advice from the community before I do as I'm not mechanically minded. My friend thinks it's the left rear trailing arm bushing 🤷🏻‍♂️ sounds plausible. Cheers.
