New tyres

Hi all,

I have a 2005 echo, and am looking to replace my tyres. they are still alright on dry roads, but driving in the recent rain has convinced me that it's time for a tyre change. i could feel minor skids whilst travelling on the highway at 70!

As this is my first car, i have no idea which tyres to go for, or where to get them. Performance is not of utmost concern, nor longevity since i drive light and am expecting to sell the car within the next 1 year, but i would like a set of tyres which are quiet on the roads. and naturally, the cheaper the better since i don't really have that much cash to burn at the moment.

i'm staying around the eastern suburbs in sydney.

thanks!
