1000km service

getting my 1000km serviceon thursday...

dont know if i should change the oil.. the toyota service dept say that its not required till 5000kms as there is a special run in oil in the car at the moment...

what do you guys reckon... and what have you done....

i just want to hit lift asap in the stivo

Change the Oil. Looked at my oil after 1000km and it was not in great condition.

dude ya havnt hit lift yet?lol

i couldnt help myself.plus when ya run in the motor ya need to have low medium and slightly high revs.so it goes the way ya want when run in.

ya probably shouldnt go full lift but at least hit 6,000 7,000 revs feels good. lol

its a toyota mate wont kill it.

ive maxed it at 6000rpm.... i cant wait to redline it.... full throttle run...

the wive has stared driving it to 6000rpm too.

the test car though..... that wasnt my car so different story.

dude take it upto 7000rpm then you notice the lift

between 6 and 7 you really start to notice the lift.over 7 even more.and it screams.lol

go on dude give it a little push.

my oil was changed at 1000KM - Free of charge.... I've heard that some people have been getting charged for the oil change !

Yeah they normally do charge you for the oil filter and oil. I think it was about $60 all up for me to change the oil at my first 1000k service. You are lucky to get it for free. ;)
