Engine Noise On Stivo's

For all stivo owners out there, is it just me or is this normal

When the engine has been warmed up with A/C on at idle speed (700-900 rpm), does it sound like a diesel engine?

I've only done 1300 km's on it. Have not rev passed 3500 rpm though.

Oh but I do. Had the stivo loan car about a month ago & pretty much trashed it.

Well for me and i dont know about the the other guys.. when when you floor it and allow it to go all the way throught the rev range it sounds like a damm well equiped performance car, not a street car. :D

At times, the engine sounds louder than it has too, but hey.. it's a damn fine sports vehicle.... :D

yowzer - welcome

yes it does sound a little like a diesel....I have found it tends to make the sound more when there is a higher level of oil in the engine. (thats not to say let out some of your engine oil at all)

but its just a charcteristic of the car. ;)
