lol WTF!!!

that is soo dodgy man, very VERY poor execution. I'd expect to see something like this on a bomb/budget track car or something, not a friggin STI!!

That's quite common for a coolant overflow container. They even pass CAMS scrutineering like that.

how? dodgy no not having anything at all and coolant splashing out onto the track. It's only purpose is to contain overflow, it doesn't need to be a metal box. Plus plastic bottles are easy to tell what the level of overflow is, and inspect when you need to empty it.
