I just order an Aurion Gold ZR6 about 3 weeks ago, they told me it will take about 3 MONTHS! till it comes in. Just wanted to know if anyone else waited this long or is 3 months the maximum amount of time I'll have to wait for it??

Also I saw somewhere on another topic/discussion that you could keep track of where your ordered car was up too, can someone tell me how to do that?

And finally how is everyone else finding their own Aurion at the moment, I have only seen about 2 or 3 on the road??

Well I had a similarly long wait for my Presara but that should have been fixed by now.

Ordered a Prodigy with Moonroof on June 2nd, still waiting. Dealer says its coming off the factory floor August 15 so I should have it delivered end of August sometime.

The contract for sale in WA is valid for 3 months so really it has to be delivered by then..

I ordered a Gold one, I did like the black but maintenance on a black car is just too much, silver was a bit too common as there are alot of silver cars on the road at the moment. The only thing that worried me was the resale value but seeing the Gold was the advertised colour of the car I didn't think it would be too bad, plus I love the Gold, each to their own I guess. The only down side was they said I had to wait for it to be built from the Altona Plant in Melbourne. I was a bit upset when they told me I had to wait 3 months for it because they had a black one on the floor and it was very tempting. So I opted to wait for the GOLD, but now it's killing me and it's only been 3 weeks!

My brother-in-law works in the accessories department @ Toyota where the cars go once they have come in from the factory for the final touch ups. He tells me he hasn't seen mine on the computer yet but once he does it is usually two weeks from then that it is ready. i am hoping to get it before the October long weekend, as I will be heading up to Hunter Valley for the break and it would be nice to take it there for the drive. Can everyone please stop showing photo's of their cars, it makes the wait so much longer :(

Ok I just got the phone call the car will be ready to pick up on 07/09/07, thats only 3 weeks away!, So really it only took about 2 months, well thats not confirmed yet, but from what they tell me. Now all I need is the money to pay for it

I ordered a black ZR6 with tints & mats on a Thursday one week & had it Wednesday the following week. It may be a high demand for the gold colour that has caused issues, being locally manufactured i can't understand 2 - 3 month waiting periods for an order.

OK after a grueling 2 months wait yesturday I picked up my Gold Aurion ZR6 with tints, mats and bluetooth and all I can say is I'm loving it, loving it, loving it!!!. I have taken a couple of friends from work for a drive in it and Toyota can expect another two customers. Also took a friend who owns a new Volvo, sorry don't know what model, but will also be trading that in for the Aurion. It is better than I expected and I expected alot. Thank you Toyota!

Thanks "DKzr6", it was definately worth the wait. As for the bluetooth, it is a separate component but it is itegrated into the stereo. The button to answer the phone is situated next to the button for the reverse sensors and the mic sits just on top of the stering column (hardly noticable). The voice comes out of the radio/cd player on the left hand speakers. I don't know why it doesn't come out of all the speaker but they told me thats the only way it works. I have tested and used it and it works fine.

I often drive past the Toyota plant in Altona to visit my folks, and every time I see a truck driving out of the factory with 6 brand new Aurions on board, at least 4 of them are Gold. Often it is all 6 in the gold.

Well I get a pretty good deal because my brother-in-law works for toyota, but I asked him how much it would be getting it from toyota and RRP is around $300 installed. Another option could be to install it yourself, it fits in any toyota models 2004 up. just plugs straight into the stereo, you would save on the installation fee. Waiting for my Zr6, although i got mine through employee discount, the dealer had one specced to what i want in stock and asked Toyota if they could release this one to me, waiting for that confirmation, and if so should get it in 1 weeks time.

Otherwise they will have to produce it and means i have to get my hands on the batch number and see how it progresses...
