Its only Aust Toyota that uses one type of brake pads. They had the same branded pads for camry which also caused squeals on camry

Called in to my local service centre. They say there still isnt any fix to this. I told them UK Toyota has a fix to this and they say Aust doesnt have any bulletin out about it. Ask if they could check up with aust toyota. They said call them yourself. Ask about the number. The guy says you should have it and hangs up.

WTF??!!!

Anyone has the number to Aust Toyota??

Is it just the rear break pads that needs changing? I'm having the same problem. I didn't use the handbrake overnight, and didn't hear the metal grinding noise in the morning. Not sure if it is the handbrake or brake pads. What is it?
