Is there a side beam protection in Aurion?

Do you think Aurion has a side beam/steel protection for the front doors of the car?

I think it doesn't have one but only the back door.

No wonder Toyota didn't want to test the side pole crash test.

Am I right?

Please correct me if I am wrong and let me know where to get the details.

Don't know, I thought AS something indicates cars must have beams on side doors - A friend of mine imported a Lexus (well Soarer). He must pay $$$ to have beams to get RWC.

all australian sold cars MUST have side intrusion bars.

If you look in the post of ZR6 Speaker Upgrade you will notice in one of the photo's the side intrusion bar is shown through the speaker hole.

I think it is the back door.

The front door doesn't look like has a side bar.

You mouse over the door, the back door has the side bar but not the front door.

That is why I am asking and make me worried if the front door doesn't have the side bar protection.

and I wonder why toyota has a lot of money (no.1 selling car in the world and australia) doesn't want to pay for optional pole test.

Umm as said before car's in Aus would need to have the side beam before registration, i don't think Toyota can get away with it..

If suprisingly there isn't then maybe the fact accelerating out of a corner you are more likely to understeer into a pole (head on) than oversteer and slide into one drives Toyota's thinking on this one....?

Intrusion bar

Look in the bootm left side of the hole within the speaker.

It is a 30mm white intrusion bar.
