Is it me or did I see them badging one as a 380 Evo? or was it just the Evolution thing just a thing meaning its the future?

Does this mean 380 and lancer parts will be harder to get???

What happens with the mitsubishi dealerships?

I'd say that everything will run as normal, just nothing will be assembled here any more. Much like how most car companies work here, bar Holden, Ford and Toyota.

All it means is Mitsubishi will not produce the 380 or an equivalent future variant of it here anymore. It doesn't affect dealerships/parts etc

Just affects peoples jobs thats all really

When the 380 was designed and the decision was made to retain the Australian plant, Sales targets for the car were 30,000 per annum but it hasn't achieved half of that despite prices being cut, so they were operating at a loss

Yeah apperntly they were only making 30 or 60 cars a day, and thats for the whole of Aus!

I see. Does that mean most of the parts are made overseas?

Nothing.

We got a letter from mitsubishi telling us that nothing will change.

Parts will still come from japan as they always have.

Never let americans design the interior and exterior of your car.

Its a great car, mechanically and dynamically, but the presenattion of the plastics and the bland interior.

i heard this news long time ago.. wondering if it is because of the engine break down or some recall of cars made in AUSTRALIA that affected their brand name a year ago? which then continues on affecting sales for 380 or something..

Well, from aurion, i can imagine why australian made car will ruin the whole brand now..

(this is just in my opinion, dont quote me on tat)
