Anyone on Emanage Blue (2ZZ-GE)

Hi guys im the proud owner of a Corolla RunX JDM.

I must say that i love the car, but i want to increase my bhp a bit more.

I have upgraded my exhaust to a 2 1/2 inch and a CAI has also been done.

I am scheduled for a trip in April to the US and was wondering if there are any gains to be had from the introduction of the Emanage Blue to my system (since its inexpensive).

What im most concerned about is whether there are any problems with installation. I have read on some other treads that the PFC has some probelsm with the temp gauge and the a/c, im just wondering if there are any owners on this forum who have installed the EMB on their 2ZZ-GE for some feedback on the gains and the problems, if any.

no problems with AC or temp guage etc. Just make sure you wire the ignition control in the correct firing order, otherwise it will run like crap.

Emanage has the same limitations as all other piggybacks with regard to knock control.

Hey thanks for the info. rollamods, will definitely take your advice.

Does anyone esle have any idea of the gains with the EMB; either, crank hp or wheel hp, offcourse also with the mods i cited above (CAI and exhaust)? :help:

      Hi Team Toyota, I am fortunate enough to be the proud owner of 2 Toyota's - an '03 Rav4 AWD Cruiser and an '07 Toyota Hiace. Both have been reliable and strong with incredible components that are so well fitted, it's a struggle to dismantle any part of them. I'm modifying my van and will probably have to sell the Rav to complete the project. I will look forward to learning much from you all and wish you all happy and safe motoring. Gidget

      Landcruiser 200 GPS

      I got mine from GTzone, a 7-inch head unit for my 2018 Land Cruiser. I think all the aftermarket Android screens are very similar. My one from GTzone came with a GPS antenna, I believe the one from Brummstadt should include one as well. It has two options for using the navigation app, one is to insert a SIM card or share a hotspot from your phone to use the navigation apps, which uses the built-in GPS antenna, the other is to use the built-in Apple CarPlay system, which uses the phone’s GPS for navigation. In my case, because I always travel to the outback during my vacations, some areas have no signal at all. So, I downloaded offline maps from the Play Store to use for navigation, which doesn’t need internet during navigation and only uses the built-in GPS. It saves your phone’s power at the same time, I guess?       300 series turbo issues

      We have a GR that had the 7th Injector replaced June 2024 (warning came up on dash Dec 2023 @ approx 18k) toyota cleaned injector in Jan when they inspected the problem and said parts will be 8 - 12 weeks (i dont know why so long for a common problem) but they advised to continue to drive / tow as normal. 3 months later parts arrived and they said they will complete job at june 2yr service interval. It was notated on paperwork torque bolts were re torqued. Today driving up blue mountains 70kmh to Katoomba towing 3.2T Zone RV van i experienced the turbo chirp on and off and the power dropping / surging. Lasted about 5-10 secs going up mountain but gave me a shock as havent experienced it before (hence the googling now and reading about previous issues) it didnt happen again but we arrived at caravan park 15 mins later and i didnt find a hill again with same steep incline as when it happened. In the 18 months of towing i havent experienced it before and car has been faultless. Todays trip was only fm Toowoon Bay to Katoomba so be interesting to see if it happens when we head to Bathurst in a few days on any steep inclines. Car is at 33k now. Currently 1 month into a 5 month trip.

      Any 2L motors for sale?

      I have a 2003 Cruiser that has done a bearing. My car is in beautiful condition otherwise. I've enquired at wreckers but to be honest they are asking far too much. Any help, referral, suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

      2013 Toyota Rav4 diesel head gasket issues

      Hi everyone .. I have a 2013 Toyota Rav4 diesel .. which has blown a head gasket at 120,000 kms while we were on holidays .. it is being repaired .. $5K later .. and I'm seriously thinking about selling it. Wondering if others have this issue or if it is a know deficiency in the diesels I have had 2 other Rav's both petrol with no issues like this and it is way too early in the life of the car to be dealing with these issues I would have thought.       Hilux Dash Lights

      Hey, I’m Skye! 😊 Today while driving my 2012 Toyota Hilux the engine light, traction control light and ABS light come on all together on the dash and the car lost most of its power. The lights are solid and are still there. I have parked it up for now. Has anyone had a similar issue happen or know what the cause could be? Just a FYI - it was serviced 2000kms ago and has 241,000km on the odometer. I will be taking it to a mechanic but as it’s my only means of transport and I live remotely and can’t get to into the mechanic for a week, I thought I’d check whether it might (wishful thinking I think) be something easy?
