Corolla Boot Trim?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Please bear with me.. I'm not that up on car lingo. I have a 94 Corolla (AE101R CSi) and am trying to track down a bit of trim for it, but at this stage, don't even know the right term for it, so its making it more than a bit difficult!

I've attached a photo of the car, indicating where the part is missing..

If anyone could tell me what the part is called that would be great (Even better if someone has one they want to sell?)

Thanks!

Ellen

I haven't been around to wreckers yet - I was trying to find out what it might be called in the hope of being able to ring around a few wreckers rather than driving round town on a wild goose chase, but thats looking like my next plan of attack :)

Just tell them it's the boot trim that covers the boot lock assembly above the spare wheel... They should understand that pretty well...

thanks for that..

I found details for a wrecker in perth that specialises in toyota parts, so sent them the photo in the hope it might yield something.. if not I'll start calling around..

Maybe call into your toyota dealer and ask for a part number or mane of part that way the wrecker will also know in your travels.

Good luck!

Any luck with getting the trim???

I've come across one brand new in the packet covered in dust, can't even see whats inside there unless you clean the packet haha...

Will check the part number and see what it's for but i'm about 80% certain it's the one you wanted...

I'm from Sydney so postage would be the only hassle... Never the less, will check the part numbers and get back to you :) :) :) ...

Hi :)

I never heard back from that wrecker, and havent had a chance yet to chase it up over the weekend with anyone else.. sounds like you might be able to save me the time :) I'm more than happy to pay postage from sydney though to save me chasing around for it over here! :)
