Hi guys,

First time here, have done a search for my query but couldn't find anything relevant so thought I'd ask!

Just bought a 1993 Corolla II zs hatchback (1500cc manual gearbox). . . only got 88,000k's on it (looks genuine), and it runs great! Cambelt will be done next week, but I'm doing an oil change, filters, and plugs over the weekend, and I've no idea which oil to use, how much the car will take, or what plugs it uses?

Engine is a 5E-FHE

Model: E-EL43-OGMVH

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Your best bet would be to consult a Toyota dealer, quote them your VIN number and they'll tell you all the parts you need and all the part numbers... Ask them for a printout of the filters and such so you can keep it for reference next time...

As for oil, I'd suggest 20W-50 Oil and should be somewhere around 3.2 - 3.8 Litres... Put in 3 Litres, start it up to let the oil run thru the new oil filter and let it settle for a few mins... Check the oil level and top up as necessary till you reach the full line...
