Why he dived to head it instead of the easier option of kicking it away we will never know.

My bet would be because he has no right foot, wasn't confident enough with kicking with his right and realise he can't really kick with his left on that angle so he went to dive.

Watch the reply, he looked so dejected haha!

LOL Riise f***ed up real bad! 4 mins into stoppage time! TERRIBLE!!!

Wishbone: as a player I admire Wayne Rooney's overall work ethic and the effort he puts in especially off the ball. Tevez is the same. Ronaldo has the best skils in the world but he is not the best player in the world because you never see him chase a ball that he's lost, and everytime he gets tackled he wants a free kick. He could learn from Rooney and get off his@ss to win the ball back instead of crying about it.

Rooney = Trash can head. Due to the shape of his head and sound that comes out of his mouth.

Ronaldo = brilliant footballer, but straight out of the continental school of diving...

Man Utd = have so many fans due to the amount of silverware, not overwhelming loyalty. Had they not won so much in recent times, they'd have no fanbase. Probably you included, Jimroy B)

Didn't see the game last night, but am rather shat off about the scousers exiting. Not that I like red shirts, but Liverpool were the 'poorest' team (in terms of bank balance) left... hence I wanted them to win.

Leroy it was a 1-1 draw and the second leg is still to come so Livo aren't out yet.

I go for Man Utd 'cos I was given a Man Utd shirt (long sleeve, collar & button) for my 7th or 8th bday, I had no idea about EPL or anything that long ago

Xploshun I agree about your Ballack comment but what do you mean by Ronaldo won't last long?

rooney can probably play really good soccer til early 30s..

but i cant see ronaldo doing that...

wingers' peak is around mid/late 20s...

eg.

Giggs.. man.. i reckon hes just as good when he was young.. scored the best Man U goal..

now.. u dont see him.. passing 4-5 players anymore.. sigh!

im a big fans of giggs.. btw!

Yeah I see your point. Giggs is an absolute hack this year. But this is the first year that I've been disappointed with him. I think Ronaldo will be awesome until he is at least 30. He's not only a running player now. As for Rooney, as he gets older he could easily play a central midfield role. He already drops in to pick the ball up as it is.

That's if Fergie decides to keep them that long. Look what happened to Beckham...

On the other hand, if someone offered them more money, I'd wager they'd follow the cash.
