I currently hold a Caltex Star Card from Work and have been using it for the Aurion ever since I got it, just with Vortex 98, which I think is a very good fuel. Whenever I can't find it, which sometimes occurs in the country areas, I use Vortex 95, which has the same detergents, just not the higher octane.

Well, there have been some changes with our 'fleet', and there is a big possibility I will soon have to choose between a BP card or a Shell Card. Could people please advise what they think is a 'better' fuel for an Aurion? I have heard great things about BP Ultimate, and have heard that Shell V Power can sometimes be inconsistent.

I'm in Sydney, so if anyone knows much about that area, it would be apprecaited. I'd love to hear about peoples experiences with 'high octane' fuels and whether they think the BP or Shell version is better, or if the Caltex Vortex 98 is the best?

I felt that the BP Ultimate worked better in the sportivo corolla's. Difference was definately noticable.

I only use V Power & Ultimate in my Aurion and I can't feel the difference between the two. Both seem to give the same milage.

For work I have a BP card. I find that there are alot more BP servo's around than Shell servo's. Makes life a little easier when you do high milage.

I've used both V-power & Ultimate equally. The difference isn't much but i prefer Shell's petroleum.

Never tried the BP ultimate because never run into one when I need to fill up on a tuesday night when fuels cheap.

Also just use the Cole 4c savers all the time. I might give BP ultimate a try.

Are they any difference milage difference for city driving?

I get highway traffic jam or residental speed humps to work.

No difference, in either thought it did one time, but it was all mental and down to variance in traffic circumstances for each test,

The only way to really test it is go across australia or something.

If you have a card, get shell and fill up on not Vpower but Vpower Racing 100octane! :D
