'88-Very Bouncy Front Right Wheel

Hi All, Just got a '88 Celica.

For it's age it is amazing however there is one problem which makes driving much more difficult. Whenever I go over a bumpy road or often when I turn the wheels at higher speeds, my front right wheel shakes up and down uncontrollably. It makes turning alot harder as I have to fight to keep the wheels on line. The other front wheel is fine and when I turn right and the weight is on it, it steers brilliantly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as not only does this make driving harder, but it is also quite dangerous as the front loses lots of traction. At the moment I am thinking it's either shocks or suspension.

Thanks! It really is a nice car.

I think there maybe some wear and tear on your wheels bearing or CV boot and or joints.

i would recommend getting your wheel hub assembly checked out. celica's are notorious for having dogdy wheel hubs.
