Ok Just installed mine today and here are my comments and installation guide:

1. Remove the catch can. I found that you just have to slide the entire box up and at the very end the hose will catch. Just put a little bit more force and the whole box will slide off. Don't put too much force. If you can't get this to work do what BKS says in the first post.

2.This is the thing you will be replacing and the clip that you cannot lose

3.Another view with both the horizontal and vertical ones

img2011a.th.jpg

4.The clip after removal. Just use some pliers and pull it out

img2013j.th.jpg

5.Pull the parts apart. Simple as lifting it up for the horizontal. Note: there is a washer on top that will probably fall off so make sure you take it off first.

6.Push the old bushing out. I found that my vertical one was easy to push out but my horizontal one I used a big phillips screwdriver and just pushed it straight through. (which caused it to fall through onto the ground) Note: I gave up on the horizontal one and thats why the pic is of the vertical lol

7. A pic of the bushing

8.A more clear pic of the bushing

9. Place the ball bearing into where the bushing was

10.Place the washers and spacers in and put everything back together. From BKS' pack I used this: big washer -> nylon washer -> small washer -> rubber spacer -> ball bearing -> rubber spacer -> nylon washer -> big washer. Putting the clip back on was quite hard but just wiggle it around and it will work

11. Put the catch can back on

12. Go and drive your car to feel the difference (yes there is quite a difference)

If anyone finds something wrong with this let me know and i'll fix it

Azzman372,

thats perfect mate great work! hope you're enjoying your new snappy gear shifting.

:)

I gave it a run and it feels very different to the stock. You can kinda feel the gear changes? If that makes sense. But i'll be crusing with my mates evo 7 tonight so perfect timing haha.

Thanks for thie bits BKS

The main thing is to make sure that the ball bearing can fit into where the rubber bushing was. from that pic the washer looks similar but thats all you can see unless you take a pic of the bushing.
