Nate's Corolla

Hey Everyone,

Some of you guys know me already, but I thought I'd post up some pics and info of my car.

It's a White 2003 Corolla Sportivo.

I picked it up earlier this year, with under 40,000kms on the clock.

At current, it has about 48***kms.

It came with the Sports Grille and Rear Skirt from factory, and I have added C-one Eyelids.

I don't have any pics with the Eyelids on it, but I'm sure all you guys know what it looks like. :P

After seeing some of the Brisbane guys cars, I was so keen to modify it but being a young fella, the money has been a bit tight.

After patiently waiting and saving, I have finally got my a$5 into gear and bit the bullet.

I have bought some King Springs (thanks SB) to get her sitting nicely.

Lows for the Front and Superlows for the Rear. This should keep the rear end down when going up Mt Nebo. ;)

When SB is free, they'll be going on.

Because the torque down low sucks completely, I have gone to the good people down at CES and booked the Sportivo in for some work.

I'll be getting new headers, cold air intake and the exhaust.

I will try and take photos of it in the workshop, if not, we'll have some before and afters. But I doubt it will compare to Xoom's before and after shots.

I am keen to put her on the dyno after the work, and take her down the 1/4 mile.

Here are some pics so far:

Hey guys!

Just a quick update, I haven't taken the Sportivo badges off the Side Skirts yet, I'm still undecided. <_<

But I can confirm that my car will be in the workshop on August 13th. :spiteful:

I'll keep you all posted.

Cheers, Nate.

Hey Guys.

I picked my car up from CES this afternoon and what can I say?

I absolutely love it!

It sounds awesome! (Especially whilst in Lift).

Once again, I got new headers, cold air intake and cat-back exhaust system.

The guys down at CES did a great job and their service is excellent.

Not only does the car sound insane, there is a huge improvement in Low to Mid-range torque.

The car pulls so easily now, and doesn't take as long to hit lift.

I will post up before and after pics when I get the chance.

Cheers, Nate.

Sweet mate.

I bet you are happy. The exhaust will only sound sweeter as the carbon builds up.

I want to do these mods myself.

Why no change in between extractors and cat?

Im just curious thats all, is there no need to change the diameter of the pipe?

I couldnt be happier with my car right now!

Except maybe those springs to have it handling a little better. ;)

You will definately not regret doing these mods to your car. Totally worth it.

As to not changing between the extractors and cat, I couldn't really tell you.

I do know that the stock cat in the Sportivo is quite big for what it is!

And I am pretty sure the piping was 2.25" all the way through, someone correct me if I am wrong.

The replacement from the cat back is now 2.5" which I think is pretty big for a 1.8L.

Maybe ask someone like SB or Northy, they'll definately no more about it!

Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. I'm sure the guys from tonights cruise would have something to say as well. :P

Next thing to do is to take those damn Sportivo badges off, and then get my King Springs installed.

Then, Power FC and Turbo... only kidding. ;)
