my car windows were tinted a year ago. there is nothing wrong with the tint (no discolour, no scratches, 35% all round) but i now would like to remove them so the overall car has a cleaner look.

i am hearing only professionals should remove the tint and it is expensive will cost more than putting it on in the first place

so i am thinking if there is anyone with the sedan from dec 2001 onwards with no tints but would like to have them perhaps we could do a swap of the windows?

if anyone knows how to effectively diy remove tint could you please let me know?

hey kcorro,

removing the tints shouldnt be a problem. probably about $30-$50 by professionals. i got charged about that much for taking off the old tints so that new ones could get put on. that was for a barina but it was a standard price.
