will a camry SV21 gearbox fit a ST162 celica

Ok sorry if there is a thread already for this, But I have been looking for hours on google and finaly gave up here. Will a Camry SV21 gear box fit into my 1989 ST162 3SGE Toyota Celica ? and if it does is it a stright fit, I have looked on toymods as well but cant search as you need to fill in a application form to go on the site. So can some one please tell me it will fit. Thanks.

if its the S54 gearbox your talking about? (i dont know the camry gens and model numbers) but if its from a camry with a 5sfe it will bolt straight in. you will need to change the starter around to the opporsite side. i have the camry gearbox on bolted onto my gen1 3sge..

yes the gearbox from the sv21 will fit as it runs a 3sfe

you will need the starter motor too
