i got a question i just sold my civic to a guy from QLD

and he said in QLD if car broke in 2 week time they can get $$ back?

is that ture?

No mate, this is not true at all. I can confirm that 100%.

Pretty sure he's bull$hitting you.

Personally I'd be wary selling to someone that said that.

Write up a contract that says he has inspected and test driven the car and is satisfied with the vehicle condition and get him to sign and date it.

Dealerships have to provide a statutory warranty, which i think is arround 2 weeks/2000kms

But as for private sales, once he takes the car its in his hands
