can anyone help me on car security questions? which car security brands is the most reliable in Aus? because i changed the 17inches rays rim(damn expensive). i want to protect them. can anyone give me the advise? thanks

The best thing to do would be to ring around a few Insurance companies and make sure they insure aftermarket parts, like rims. Try AAMI, CGU, GIO, SunCorp, etc if the wheels is the only modification, or Just Cars if you have a few more things changed, or would like to change

If a good thief wants them, they'll steal it. The only thing you can try is preventative measures. These include quality lock nuts and perhaps an alarm with a shock sensor which in an event of a theft will alert you by pager. Otherwise you can spend a couple of hundred bucks and get the whole car "Data Dotted", including the rims. Remember, it doesn't matter what you try, thieves will always find a work around.
