i've got a sportivo v6 auto, which has the exact same engine (minus the sports muffler)

i have been using shell v-power in my car since i bought it and haven't had any problems with it. with that, i average about 11.5L/100km and get about 500km per tank of city driving (that's going down to just under 1/4 of a tank)

a couple of people have said that there may not be a noticeable difference between 98 and 95, and certainly not between 100 and 98. however, although two cars may be the same physically, they will react differently to different fuels.

i've never used anything else so i can't really compare, but i have heard that the long term effects of ethanol blended fuels aren't too good

Honestly in my gen4 (same engine) I wouldn't use anything other than 98 oct.

Iv'e had this car for years and years now and found that only 98 oct fuel can get me up to 850Km a tank, aside from the fact that using lesser fuels makes my car seem sluggish and higher octane fuels also contain cleaning additives.

But this is just my experience, I'm sure others would argue that it makes no difference :P

you must drive it like an old woman to get that! :P

i've never gone for a strictly freeway drive, so i don't know my maximum range

wot relish is saying is quite right =)

got 1011kms from 75Ltank on vpower, it was a return trip and i still has just under 1/4tank left - enough to last me another 250km freeway driving and 125-150kms ct driving.

Quite the opposite actually :spiteful:

When I do (rarely) take it easy on the gas I usually get around 1000Km+ from a full tank, but after having said that my car is heavily modified which is where a some of those extra Kms come from and being a 5 speed also helps :P
