Noisy Tappets

My 1zz has noisy tappets so i have been told.

how do i fix the tappets? can i get new ones?

By getting the Crower Spring and Retainer Set, will this fix it?

Might want to check your valve clearances. Could also be a noisy timing chain if the tensioner isn't doing it's job.

Valve Clearance (Cold):

Intake: 0.15 - 0.25 mm

Exhaust: 0.25 - 0.35 mm

i must say do u know how rare it is for a corolla to have a valve train problem or any toyota ohc motor for that fact with the exception of the twin cam 4.2 desiel as that has a rocker arm set up i believe could be wrong have been before
