trucks drivers are SCAREY. PERIOD

x2..no shiat..i was on leach doing 80km ..which is 10k`s above the speed limit..this HUGE **** truck has been ploughin thru the traffic..n the next thing i know its right up on my ****..n he kept honking me but i was once again stuck :( n he just kept coming closer and closer and closer till the point where i couldnt even c the driver but only the MASSIVE grill of the truck >< n he kept on honking.....maybe he was really late for a delivery xD

I remember reading about this, and if you are a male under 25, you will be in an accident.

A male under 30 is not as likely, and once you cross 30, you are pretty safe bet.

Just take a look at insurance premiums to confirm.

Men don't become a higher risk ever again, would you believe most 60+ don't have accidents, I'm certain they probably cause some. My father in law is 80, and I cringe when he drives, but most ppl know to avoid him due to his silver hair, so he doesn't have an accident.

Aggression is what drives accidents (generalisation I know), and that drops as you get older.

If someone tails me now, I just let em past. It's good advice.

      Auto door locking on new 2024 C-HR?

      Thanks Martin. I thought that may have been the case. However, it seems an anomaly with so much tech on board. My wife always looks for this feature after an ugly incident while stopped at a traffic light some years ago. As you said ...perhaps an OTA update? One other thing if you don't mind me asking. What is the build date on your vehicle? The C-HR's that appeared at my local dealer in the last fortnight all have an October or November 23 build date. Thanks, Peter

      Auto door locking on new 2024 C-HR?

      Hi I was very lucky to receive one of the first new models last month. My Koba is amazing- as have all of my previous Toyotas. However in answer to your question it does not automatically lock the doors when you engage Drive or when you reach a preset speed. I am very disappointed that with all of the electronic devices and safety features and the approximately 20% increase in price over the last model that Toyota Australia has left a very important safety feature out of the vehicle. We see cars being carjacked almost nightly on the news. My knowledge of technology in this sector is limited but surely it is only an update of the operating systems to fix this. The new model is a beautiful car- your wife should still buy one.

      is it possible to import US model Sienna to Australia?

      I rent a 2023 model in US just few days ago it’s beauty and real good on fuel much nicer to drive compare to Honda Odyssey which I own one 2022 model make me wonder why Toyota AUS won’t bring the Sienna hybrid to Australia instead we get bulky ugly looking Granvia with diesel engine 🤔🤔!!

      How to delete bluetooth device?

      I have a Yaris and had a similar issue. I just submitted a similar query to GPT. The response was to go into settings, view paired devices, select the device to remove, and confirm the removal. It helped me; I couldn't find the answer on the internet, but I found it there.

      @campbeam much appreciated, very interesting, it’s got me buggered as on the Toyota Estima groups everyone is quoting 1.6 litres cold for a drain and drop, now, these run the exact same drivetrain as the Aurion 2GR-FE and U660E combo, so in theory all figures should line up, I’m hedging my bets on your maths and techniques though, you seem well versed…. thanks again

      Auto door locking on new 2024 C-HR?

      My wife is looking at purchasing a new 2024 C-HR Hybrid. Does anyone with one of these know whether the doors lock automatically when driving off? Her 2018 C-HR doesn't do this which is annoying as my 11 year old Kia Sportage does.
