has any one relocated a battery on the corolla im thinkin of putting it in the boot but theres little room, any one who has done this could u post where u put it and any tips

move it next to the strut tower. Mod the tray, make some new rods to secure it, mod/make a new bracket.

eg:

the thing is my sri sits in the position u have shown your battery to be in, the reason i wanted to move the battery out of the way is cause i wanted to seal of that side of the bay for a ducted aluminium box...

i got a sri too and was thinking about doing what you're planning to do, just im lazy and not bothered figuring it out

You used a newspaper as a battery? Interesting concept

Seriously, what battery is that? I'm looking at getting a new one for the 102 soon, smaller is better because of the CAI but I still want decent power, if I stayed at current size I'd be looking at a Yellowtop, but smaller would definitely be preferable

DHC & Xoom have been using it for quite some time..

i got it... like nearly 2 yrs ago..

true bill's battery maybe small but it does the job and as long as your not running a massive sounds system off it youll be fine

did alittle research today battery cost drysell $460 wireing labour bits and peices $550, not looking like a cheap mod

Not a bad concept at all...

How accessible is the battery to get in and out???

Also, does it have to be removed to get access to the gearbox filler plug???

thx, doesent have to be removed but makes it easier, even if u have to remove only takes bout 10mins catch tank remove battery slides out. allso added rubber to the top of the sheild this morning to completelly seal it off from the rest of the bay
