Tyres...... a sticky topic.....
Thanks Stephen for the excellent report mate, Yes Tyres are always a subject that will garnish so many differing reviews as everyone has their own opinions. We each have loevs and dislikes about tyre brands, and mi9ne is safety grip wet and dry and endurance as like you fuel economy isn't my number one go too. My last set was the Bridgstone Primacy 4 and so far they are doing brilliant in all of my go too areas especially quiet and wet weather driving grip and wear so I am happy to say they are doing great expensive but what price can be put on the tiny bit of contact we have on the tarmac. Look after yourself mate KAA -

2004 Crown
Hi Peter, From my reseach that indicates Pre Collision Safety System,The PCS system, uses radar or cameras to alert the driver of potential frontal collisions. So sounds like its a fault being detected in that system which could be a sensor of possibly an obstruction of one of them. Hope that helps mate or at least gives you an avenue to look at. KAA -

200 Series Front Sway bar Linkages
Hi, Long story short. I have had the suspension upgraded in my 200 Series (VX) a year or so ago. I have noticed that the vehicle is slightly lower on one side. About 25mm. I'm not really that mechanically minded however i finally decided to crawl under the car and see if anything was bent etc. I notice that the front Sway bar linkages are a diff length. Is this normal for Landcruisers , or should they be the same length? Any assistance would be appreciated. -

Dynamic Cruise Control faults
Has anyone else had their radar cruise control just drop speed whilst in use for no reason? So driving along the road cruise set to say 60km - all of a sudden starts to drop speed, no car in front & I have not braked. Or the other incidence, cruise set 80km enter a 60km zone, drop cruise to 60km, car continues to drop speed to an almost stop, have to push acceleration to get vehicle back to speed!!! Has happened from the moment I took delivery, today alone occurred 5 times?? Toyota has no answers!! IMG_0975.mov IMG_0976.mov -

Losing power when in gear from start off at traffic lights
Hi Darren, I have been following .... The Car Care Nut... on YouTube for various topics on the American "Highlander " which is our Australian Kluger. Not sure what is causing your problem however he has a video on MAF (Mass Air Flow) issues. MAYBE this could help you? OR their might be a video on his channel to assist? Hope this helps.. Master warning light in the middle top between speedo and tacho. There's the letters PCS and a fairly long series of Japanese characters. Does anyone know what this might mean? -

AE112 - Headset Upgrade
I just purchased a nice little AE112 hatchback with 110,000 km. Is changing the headset a reasonably simple job? Anything I need to look out for?
