Hi All,

Can anyone help me identify what these 2 lines do on the Aurion near the oil Filter.

I can't find it anywhere in the '06 handbook.

They look like -10lines so I surmise they're some oil line as it comes out of the Filter enclosure.

Either they lead to an Engine Oil cooler OR, they're actually coolant lines and they bring coolant arount the oil filter area like a Water/Air Oil cooler.

Like to see if anyone knows before I unplug one..they're not easy to reach so I rather not unplug one if someone else knew.

Thanks

Trying to work out how to mount an engine temp sensor and I rather not drill and weld a bung in the sump.

Well, the Transmission does up to 319 psi and the Oil cooler lines are still clamped on. The Engine shouldn't go past 90psi~100psi at full song, so shouldn't be a problem with clamped lines.

They will most likely be coolant lines. I have seen these very often on V6 engines, and are apparently part of the method of heating up the coolant quicker to bring the car to operating temp. They basically connect into a ring that runs around the side of the oil cooler.
