Hey everyone, here are some old pics of my 1997 Toyota Starlet “Life”:

img164301ji5.th.jpg img160901do6.th.jpg img1988ps6.th.jpg

Engine:

- 4AGE 20V Blacktop

- HKS extractors, 2" mandrel bent exhaust

- R1WURKS under-driven/lightweight alternator & water pump pulley

- K & N Pod Filter enclosed in custom airbox

Gearbox:

- AE111 C56

Suspension/Wheels:

- Whiteline front & rear swaybars

- Whiteline anti-lift/castor kit

- 14” Watanabe F8 wheels

I also had a 1992 EP82 Starlet as well, but I sold it earlier this year in order to just have one project car to finish off.

Thanks.

Getting the blacktop in there required a fair bit of custom work mainly being the engine mounts, driveshafts and wiring.

Other than that, the hard part of the engine conversion has been sorted.

Engine has been driven for 18,000kms so far without any major issues.

How hard does it go? Do you find the R1Wurks pulleys making much of a difference?

Definitely a lot more responsive than the original 55kW engine.

As for the R1Wurks pulleys, there's not much of a noticeable gain probably just a few kW's at the most.

I put the stock front end & rear hatch back on since I will be getting it resprayed early next year.

I'm going for a similar colour change like the "British Racing Green" found on E39 BMW 5-series.

Where's Jules!!!

I'm onto it already! :D

Seen this car in real life. A very good build indeed! The installation looks completely factory!

Props to TommyKairaR!
