..Your coilovers are set to the stiffest settings and the road is wet from rain?

hi Guys, new on forums, virgin poster, virgin toyota owner.

Driving a Camry 04 Sportivo right and so far i have dropped it on Pedders Sprtsryder springs and whacked 18" on it

i have always been a spirited driver, i have whiteline rear barred the big girl, put nice adrenalin rubbers all around and now am looking at either staying on the

shock + spring combo or go into coilies ...i know the big picture of the pros & cons but i was hoping to hear more from you guys apart from hard ride etc.... like

how the brake response will be on wet roads? i plan to have them set on the stiffest because i need driveway clearance

You'll find that the stiffest setting wont be the fastest setting.

As for driveway clearance just have the ride height adjusted so that you can clear it. Nothing worse than your car being impractically low.

road is not the race track, putting it on the stiffest setting is asking for shorter shock life and a really uncomfortable ride. Not to mention that and bumps or imperfection on the road will show up and your grip on the road will be severly compromised.

the trick for the road is to have them as soft as possible without them bottoming out. It's a trade-off between ride height and stiffness.
