Hi,

I've got a 1995 Camry CSX and need to program a remote fob. There's a transponder that's located to the right in the glovebox, which the fob can sit in, but I've no idea how to program it.

I've searched the Forum and there are programming details but they seem to be different for my model. I believe that my model uses the Toyota Vehicle Security System, TVSS

I know LittleDavey83 knows how to program these... if not, Anthony.

If you can't find out how, try Auscam or you might need to get Toyota to do it. It's meant to be pretty straight forward from what I know.

I'm not sure if you've already solved the problem but from what the manual says, programming for a 96 camry (95 should be the same) is as follows:

a ) Insert a valid programmed remote control into the remote control reader.

The vehicle security indicator on the dash will illuminate continuously for 5 seconds. During this time:

1. Remove valid remote control from reader

2. Insert new blank remote control into the reader

3. Remove newly programmed remote control from the reader.

b ) Test by arming / disarming the system. Repeat if still not functional

If any problems, the Toyota dealer will arrange programming of new remote.

Thanks for that -- I'll give a try.
