Engine Transplant

I want to transplant a 3S-GE from an Altezza(Lexus IS200) into a 1989 Toyota Corona 2.0GL ST171.

Before you start asking why - just remember - she may not be much but she is mine.

My main question is: is it likely to fit?

Dude,

It should fit.

I think you have a "S" series motor now as it's an ST171.

Is that Front Wheel Drive ? Or Rear Wheel Drive ?

If you do have a 3SFe it should swap straight over, but you will need wiring harness/loom and ECU.

Cheers

T.
