MOON ROOF LEAKING WATER, HAVE A TOYOTA AURION WITH MOON ROOF AND ITS LEAKING WATER WHEN YOU ARE WASHING THE CAR.

DOS ANY ONE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.

Check the seal condition, height adjstment and the drain hoses aren't blocked...

Depending on age, seals could be broken

Or perhaps not shut tightly?

Mate, I have the same problem on my 2002 Levin Corolla. The water is coming between the glass and the plastic edges and I was told many RAV4 had the same problem. The way to fix this is to replace the glass and is $1000 from Toyota, I havent fixed mine yet coz of the price.

hey jacko16 and vvti16v.. is your moon roof factory fitted, or aftermarket?

and does water leak through when its raining aswell? :(

You need to realize that the moon roofs are designed to seal, but not to be water proof. hence why there are water drains there..

Think about it. If the roof is closed, and they were made not to leak. why would they have internal water drains?

its not like you need a small drain to catch the rain when the glass is open

:P

Dont get me wrong, if its out of adjustment then obviously is not correct. but they do leak. Leak sounds like a bad word, but its not.
