exterior and interior mods

hey guys

just wondering what decent exterior and interior mods i can do to my st184.

im currently looking for clear side indicators and clear front bar indicators. anybody know where i can find these in melbourne?

im open to suggestions, post pics of what you guys have in/on your cars (doesnt have to be st184).

This is what I did when I owned MRFOUR and some pics of my old SX Celica *sob*

If you wanna keep it genuine and not soo ricey then you could get a Group A front bar like I had but maybe thats just next level.

Anyways there' s the Group A bar, GT4 bonnet on SX, clear sides, clear fronts, blue LED's, halo (BMW style) headlights, 17's CSA Tuners, Magnaflow zorst and wingless GT4. You can just see the Ganador styled mirrors on the GT4 too.

Most if not all of the Jap stuff that I put in those cars, especially the GT4, was sourced through Clarence (tangcla) which is his forum user name and other members of the forum based automotive community.

If your on the look out for stuff locally you could join other forums like ozcelica.com as people regularly sell stuff of interest.

No I don't really as Im not in the whole GT4 scene anymore...

But I do know that Terry from Road&Track gets stuff bought over from the motherland regularly.

Give him a bell and Im sure he is more then happy to help you out and to point you in the right direction *thumbsup*

Maybe also you could try your local wreckers? Expect to pay AU$250+ for a bonnet plus getting sprayed the right colour. I was really lucky with the SX Celica as they were the same colour. I remember driving back down from Colac (VIC) with the bonnet on and peoples reactions were like wow.

And goodluck getting a Group A bar and reo, they're as rare as hens teeth.

Head over to OzCelica forums and check there. If not, I've got a mate who does a lot of importing, I can ask him to see what he can get for you.

IMO, wheels and a subtle front bar is all most cars should have. Normally the more you spend on the exterior, the less you have to spend on the engine and driveline which make up most of the car (IMO). I'd rather have something that looks like dirt but wipes every car on the road than something all show and no go.

Yeah, +1 and agreed there random_hero. I also had a CF Group A replica bonnet but when I finally got it I sold off MRFOUR.

That sucked majorly coz I was the first one to put the payment down 1k+ and not much others from ozcelica.com and toymods had the cash ready.

I've been looking for some halo-styled lights for my Celica but eBay doesn't really have any good looking halo-styled lights... only this really gay looking one.... maybe you could point me in the right direction.....

Preferably without city-lights (a.k.a. parkers) in the actual headlight as we all know that our parkers are outside the main headlight.... plus..... I've asked my LED supplier and he doesn't recommend LEDs next to a H4 bulb when it's on or been on.... too hot for the LEDs!
