The "Sportivo Wagon" lives!

Recommended Posts

I was scouring the Japanese Toyota website today and I came across the Corolla Fielder Z Aerotourer ... essentially a Sportivo wagon.

Two things I noted, firstly, this model actually has the 15" Ascent Sport/Conquest/Levin alloys standard, the 16" Sportivo jobbies are an option, as are the 15" Ascent steelie/hubcap combo!

The other thing I noted was the option of an auto transmission (Mrs Buddha, are you listening? :D), with the same steering wheel up/down buttions as the Celica autos. Here's how the Babel Translator translated the Japanese description:

"Because it can do shift change to the desired gear step, without releasing the hand from the steering wheel, the system which it can devote to handling. You can taste the sport driving of manual feeling, by everyone."

Says it all really ... except to say, "I just want one"! B)

Yes the Toyota Corolla Sportivo/RunX/T-Sport is available in an auto option overseas.

Yes the Toyota Corolla Sportivo/RunX/T-Sport is available in an supercharger (Kompressor) option overseas as well (Germany).

Yes this topic has been covered before.

I did know there was an auto option available overseas (as it is here on the Celica), but I hadn't seen any info on a wagon version.

I did know a supercharger was available for the 2ZZ, but I'm unsure of its relevance here.

I did know the question had been asked before, but this is the first answer I've seen, hence the reason I've shared it. And yes, I did a search prior to posting it up! :)
