Hi All,

My wife wants me to part with the Crown that my dear old Granny drove from new 'til she got too old and gave it to me.

I hate to sell it, but I'm running out of choices. If anyone is interested I'll pop some pictures on here. Or you could email me at cammers@hotmail.com .

Also, would anyone know what the thing would be worth to sell? It's in pretty good condition with lots of rego. About 210,000km.

And, what would be the best way to sell something like this?

Firstly you need to tell us whereabouts the car is. Melb? Syd? Adel? etc

Also it would be handy if you could post up pics of it, because that might just get someone interested in it.

As for best way to sell it...... you are heading in the right direction.... Toyota forums are probably your best bet. I would perhaps put it on CarSales too. Only costs $10 or $20 from memory. You could try eBay too, but they are thieves and selling cars through eBay sucks.

As for what it's worth. To be honest an 80's Crown won't fetch a great deal even in excellent condition. It's a demand thing. There is not a lot of people after one. They are quite a nice car though and well appointed for their time.

My tip...... get it on CarSales with as much info as possible.

Not a clue what it's worth... not as much as it would be if it were 70's. What colour is it? Would love to see some pics.
