Headlight Angel Eye / Projector Installation Service - Sydney

Recommended Posts

Hey Peps,

Trying find and get quotes from places in Sydney that install this gear into our headlights.

I have sent an email to Autojoy and have got no reply, as per bellow.

My Aim is to find a set of second hand headlights and get a train going, similar to the porting of headers.

I have heard prices of around $300 for angel eyes supplied and installed. Biggest question is warranty i dont want any leaks or issues as headlights is something looked at for rego.

Does anyone know any other places in sydney that will do it?

Hi,

I have a few questions about the angel eye installation service you provide, please answer all questions in as much detail as possible as i will be passing this information onto other possible customers.

How much would it cost to get a CCFL Angel Eye and Bi-Xenon Projector kit installed into a 2005 Corolla Hatch Headlights?

If you don't have CCFL or Bi-Xenon, what is your next best and price.

Also if i supplied kit such as the link below, how much would the installation cost?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/H4-9003-Bi-xenon-pr...id=p3286.c0.m14

Is it also possible to get the internal surround of the headlight painted black, or possibly taken apart for a day and given to me to paint black?

Most importantly what warranty do you supply with your install?

Do you ever have problems with moisture building in the headlight after an install? If this happens will you fix it?

Will you realign the light beam to meet RTA requirments as part of the installation?

How long does the installation take?

Thanks for your help in advance...

How much did it cost you?

About $180 from ebay

What warranty did you get?

None =D

Where did you get it done?

DIY FTW

Any issues with rego?

shouldn't be a problem with rego

The angel eyes are connected to the parkers. Well they are tapped into the parker wires. so when you flick the parkers on, the angel eyes turn on. If you really wanted to have the option to turn only the normal parker on then you could wire up a switch for the angel eyes. Just needs a 12v power supply

Thanks

Hi Michael. This is Sunny from AutoJoy.

If u come down www.autojoy.com.au can see CCFL or LED Angel Eyes with Toyota Corolla.

Price is $400.00 for CCFL, $450.00 for LED with install

Bi-Xenon Projector Lens, can not fit in Australia caused by regulations. So we not deal with that.

Also u can see under the www.autojoy.com.au angel eyes section with Lexus IS200 which we did black painting inside Head Light.

That price is $120.00

We give to 1 year warranty about out job and LED Angel Eyes(CCFL only 3 months).

Normally hook with Parker wires, so when u turn on the parker, Angel Eyes come on at same time.

Don’t need any inspect by RTA. It’s extra Parker and day driving light.

4hrs job going…

Cheers

Sunny

Holy crap! $400? thats expensive. The DIY job took me about 9 hours but thats cause i stuffed up a lot. I've had my projectors in for about 1 month now and its rained, dust stormed, hailed, sunshine etc and I've had no condensation or any sign of water in the headlights. And i didn't use anything extra when I sealed up my headlights and just used whatever sealant there was from factory.
