front end knocking noise question

My car is a 93 Toyota Corolla. I thought the noise might be the axle so I replaced it. The sound is still there. It happens randomly as Im driving. Different intensity at different times. Its no worse when I turn corners. It happens all the same as I am going straight. Sometimes it gets louder then I take it out of gear and just coast. I have no idea what it is. Any help would be great. Thanks

might be a wheel bearing, should be fairly cheap to replace just as a check.
