Just a quick hello from a new kid on the block. my name is Michael , I have a 96 Tarago , good for the kids.

It has recently had problems with exhaust and catalytic convertor ( spelling?).

It's the second one its had . I suppose thats not bad for 300,000 kms.

Have you guys done your own work e.g. oil /auto transmission fluid change etc. Is it easy? Have you any idea where to get a cheap work shop manual?

Thanks for your time,

cheers Michael

Hey there Michael,

I've got an 85 tarago and do all my own work. Its really easy to do your basic fluid changes like oil, transmission and diff. If you have a look on eBay theres sure ti be a cheap manual for your car, they come up all the time. Get yourself a Gregory's I've found them to be the easiest to understand. If you want to do something easy start by changing your oil. Remember to replace the oil filter too and look in your handbook to see what sort of oil to use.

Take it easy,

Mike.
