hey guys so ive finally given my 1zz with a pcf a good run and when the revs get up with a quick gear change manily 2 to 3 the engine light flickers on and off for a bit then goes away. could it be a dirty maf ?? or is it something more serious. redline has been set to 6700 could this also be why ??

cheers in advance

moving the redline should not cause this, my redline is set to 7200 and had not issue with the CEL....and this is with PFC on on 1ZZ.

The PowerFC will only flash the check engine light during the following situations; maxed out injectors (0.5s), maxed out MAFS (highly unlikely), exceeding the knock threshold you set (0.1s). The interval tells you which situation is occuring.

did you repin the fan trigger wire as required with a 1zz pfc install?

Driving on an untuned pfc is a quick way to crack your ring lands.

I set a 7100rpm revlimit on the 1zz with TRD charger.

The wiring diagrams were wrong for the manual 1zz here, they must have included an overseas market in our workshop manual by mistake. The Auto 1zz wiring diagram is pretty close to correct for the manual.

ok cool dont happen to have a pinout of the auto 1zz by any chance do you SD, or even tell me where the fan trigger needs to repined to ?

cheers for all the help
